Since 1932 and through fundraising efforts, LULAC Councils have raised scholarship monies for Hispanic students meeting certain guidelines and pass a competitive and rigorous selection process .
In 1975, LULAC established a unique partnership between grassroots advocates and corporations to fund educational opportunities for deserving youth across the U.S. As a result, every dollar raised by local LULAC Councils is matched by corporate partners increasing the amount given in both the council and corporate names.
